A Charleston resident since 1989, Nancy works with recreational athletes to professional athletes; triathletes, swimmers, cyclists, runners, tennis players, major league baseball players, and hockey players throughout the Lowcountry. She is an August 2014 graduate of the Southeastern Institute of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy with 900+ credited hours of clocked training.
In September 2014, Nancy completed the Ultra Sports Massage certification program in Tampa, FL, where she received advanced training in Sports Massage, pre and post sports massage, Myofascial release, and Active Isolated Stretching. She is also certified in Massage Cupping and MediCupping and uses both cupping therapies in sports massage and maintenance massages on clients to help better their range of motion, circulation, release old restrictions and/or scar tissue.
Nancy was born in Thailand and raised in Louisville, KY. Prior to becoming a massage therapist, she worked as a freelance fashion photographer for 20 years, extensive traveling and photographing models for top modeling agencies and print for catalogs. After retiring from fashion photography, she worked as a paralegal for seven years, then became a massage therapist in 2014.
At the present time when Nancy is not helping clients to optimize their health and wellbeing, she works as a freelance wildlife photographer and part-time bike mechanic at Cooper River Cycles. Loves to spend her free time fly fishing, playing the piano, living in the country with her husband Blane, several fur babies and chickens. She is an avid gravel cyclist, loves to mountain bike and collaborating folks to ride bikes more.
